About the property…
La Grange Caravote is a high-end two-storey apartment for 14 guests, with six bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Much of the lower floor is dedicated to the fabulous open-plan living area. A central fireplace separates the lounge, with its comfortable armchairs and sofas, from the fully equipped wooden kitchen, which has a breakfast bar perfect for morning coffee.
There’s room for everyone to eat together at the dining table. After dinner, you might like to get together for a game of pool, or perhaps play chess.
There are balconies on three sides of this floor. The largest is furnished with a second dining table, a barbecue and a comfortable seating area.
Three of the four bedrooms have doors to a balcony. Three of the rooms also have double beds and the fourth can be arranged with twin beds or a large double. It also has a mezzanine floor with another single bed. Each bedroom has its own shower room, some with WCs.
La Grange Caravote also has a sauna and a fitness area equipped with an exercise bike. A ski room and a laundry room with a washer and dryer complete this floor.
There are two more bedrooms under the eaves, which share a shower room with a WC. One of these rooms has a double bed and a desk, while the other is a children’s room with three single beds and a play area.
There is a television in each of the bedrooms at La Grange Caravote, and four of the rooms also have a desk area for remote working.
Finally, the garage has an electric charging point and room for one car, and there are three additional outdoor parking spaces.

Le Grand-Bornand is an authentic resort in the heart of the Aravis mountains, just 40 minutes from Annecy. Its traditional village centre, historic hamlets and modern facilities attract active families and nature lovers all year round, eager to enjoy the mountain activities. In winter, the ski area offers 90km of slopes for all levels, served by 24 ski lifts. The resort also has a snow park, three beginner zones, and five marked ski touring routes. You’ll also find two ice rinks, one in Le Grand-Bornand and another in nearby La Clusaz.

This superb two-storey apartment can accommodate up to 14 guests (8 adults) in a property where the charm of the past meets modern facilities. Six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and several relaxation areas make it the perfect place to create memories with family or friends.
From the moment you enter, soft tones, wood and natural light give the living area a calming ambiance. A fireplace separates the seating area and the fully equipped kitchen, which has a useful breakfast bar.
The dining table is big enough for your whole group, while a games corner with a pool table and chess set is the perfect place to relax after your meal.
Three balconies on this level make the most of the ever-changing views as the light shifts throughout the day. One balcony is furnished with a dining table, barbecue, and comfortable chairs overlooking the mountains.
On the same floor there are three double bedrooms, and a room with a double bed which can be arranged as twin beds.
This room also has a mezzanine area.

Clotilde
We’ve always loved the mountains and authentic places filled with history. When we discovered this 1876 farmhouse in Chinaillon, above Le Grand-Bornand, we instantly knew it was something special.
This village, known for preserving its traditional alpine architecture, is truly one of a kind in Haute-Savoie.
When we bought the property in 2021, it had been empty for more than 20 years – ever since two sisters, affectionately known in the village as “the Caravotes”, stopped farming there.
We wanted to breathe new life into the farmhouse while honouring its heritage. Each space – the barn, the living quarters, the stable and the old storage rooms – was carefully renovated and transformed into four unique apartments that still carry the charm of the original building.
Our own apartment occupies the top floor of the farmhouse. With its generous living area opening onto a wide balcony and its many cosy bedrooms, it’s a wonderful place to get together with our four children, or to share good times with friends.
